Lola’s bedroom ceiling

In 2024, I was asked to create a mural wrapping around the sloped ceiling in Lola’s Bedroom.

They wanted to feel like she was sleeping in a meadow of wildflowers with a cloudy blue sky.
We chose some of her favorite wildflowers and insects, and started with some sketches for style reference. Then I designed her mural digitally, scaling in her walls, and rendering her ceiling in Photoshop. This rendering was used to project and outline. Then I hand painted the rest, with some freehand whispy clouds and playful colors, her mural came to life.
